Dawn of the Dukes, the next DLC to be added to AoE2: Definitive Edition, has been announced since April 10th at the fan preview. This of course means it's been 81 whole days at this point since we knew the existence of the DLC.
Updates on this DLC have been slow, so slow that only 17 days ago we finally knew what civilizations were going to be added, Poles and Bohemians. 17 days ago it was also announced that the DLC would be available for download in "August". This is quite vague and, as it is now July, I am slightly bothered by the fact that Dawn of the Dukes, a DLC announced for twice as long as Lords of the West ever was, hasn't gotten it's own preview of the content.
The closest thing to this has been the previously mentioned announcement of the civilzations but that isn't close to what Lords of the West recieved, which had it's own preview of all the bonuses except the team bonuses, the Unique Technologies along with their effects and the Unique units and what they would do. This all happened just 40 days before release.
So, if Dawn of the Dukes recieves the same treatment as Lords of the West then we have just 20 days before the announcement. Lords of the West was released on a Wednesday, so we haven't really gotten any clues to the date.
Although I am in the mindset that there will be a preview of bonues, The Devs might not wan't to repeat how they showed Lords of the West early, or are just have no time to show us the bonuses. However, here is a poll for you to make your very best guess to when there will be a preview of the DLC!
