DLC with Voobly

I've recently switched over to Voobly and after maybe 2 hours and 3 re-installs, i FINALLY got it to work. Age of Conquerors works like a charm, but I'm really interested in playing with the new Civs and balance changes. I've tried running the FE lobby and the African kingdoms lobby and it didn't work. It was identical to AoC. Do i have to buy the DLC or is there another, perhaps less legal way? (That's a joke BTW)
