If Britons got paladins how would it affect the metagame?

On first glance this seems like a dumb idea. But considering this won't affect 1vs1 a lot (where Britons are plenty strong already) since paladins aren't of much use there and Britons lack bloodlines. Wouldn't it mostly help Britons in positions where they're rather weak like pocket positions or lategame situations in teamgames?

Or will this result in quick booms into paladins before anyone can counter it considering the British boom is rather strong with cheap TCs?

Or will it have no impact whatsoever because Britons lack bloodlines and Paladins without bloodlines just aren't enough to cut it lategame in the current meta?
