Is there a mod that makes HD graphics be the original 90's graphics, or some other way to get them?

I lost my age of empires II CD a long time ago, and while I'd probably like the HD edition for it's own reasons, I really want that nostalgia of the old game's look when I used to play it as a kid. But it seems like the only way to play with the original graphics is have the original CD, and those sell upwards of like 100 dollars now
