As devs and mods continue to make this game better by the addition of all kinds of units, and cultural adaptations of existing units, it occurs to me that one is quite obviously missing.
I really appreciated the Meso-American trade unit, the cart pulled by a light-footed individual running at the same speed as the horse/cart unit ubiquitous amongst the other civs.
I would like to see a camel unit. An individual camel, with a rider, with lots of saddle bags, which can bulge when full. Such a unit would also move at the same pace, and could either have the same footprint/size as the other two, or be slightly smaller.
Civs that would have their horse/cart replaced by a camel caravan:
- Berbers
- Ethiopians
- Indians
- Malians
- Mongols?
- Persians
- Saracens
- Turks
Thoughts on limitations/impossibilities, or other options?
