Is AOE II more CPU dependent or GPU dependent?

I’m planning on getting a new laptop with much better specs and these are my options:

i5-9300H (4 core) with GTX 1660 Ti

Or

i7-8750H (6 core) with GTX 1060

Both GPUs are mobile graphic cards and both CPU turbo at 3.9 GHz but single threaded frequency is 4.1 for both CPUs. Does AOE II take advantage of multi threading and whatnot? And how will they perform for Definitive Edition?
