Have been playing for around 2 weeks, how do I improve mid > lategame?

I started by learning the basic build orders and practicing dark age over and over. Can't do a perfect DA but can kill both boars without casualties most of the times, with little to no TC idle time. My problem now is with everything that comes after feudal/early castle.

I usually just start making 2 ranges as soon as Feudal start making archers nonstop. Where do I go from there? When should I aim to castle? If my initial raid is successful, how should an archer start capitalize on this small advantage?

Any tips on keeping making vils? I usually just keep the TC flag at a woodline and keep making vils, so I always end up with a ton of spare wood, this is not very efficient... any good tip to make vil production efficient?

Usually if I am lucky enough to go through feudal healthy, in castle age I have no idea what to do, even if I spam create archers my resources start stockpiling, any tips on how to spend resources efficiently?
