Curious if people have different ways to play against the AI except rushing? I find that almost always the outcome is decided within the first minute or two in Feudal - either I beat the AI to making archers and start picking off their villagers, once I can amass around 10 archers I knows it's gg and the AI just falls off a cliff. Or, the AI beats me to feudal and has a million skirmishers waiting at its base. They beat my archers and from then it's spam spam spam skirmishers. Is there any other ways that people have tried to make it more interesting? It's kinda boring how the AI seems to always go the same route with skirm after skirm. And if it wins the first feudal battle there's no turning back as it's score ramps up and I can't keep up with it's efficiency.
Tldr - has anyone had success booming or playing different strategies against hard AI? Any tips?
