Roman Civilization Mod Patch 2.1

Thanks to lots of critical feedback and various suggestions I bring the first path to my newly introduced roman civ mod:

Romans

Expansive Civilization

  • Villagers have +10 hit points Castle Age, +15 hit points Imperial Age
  • Infantry armor upgrades free
  • Houses cost -80% wood
  • Skirmishers have +1 range starting in the Castle age

Unique unit: Legionary (infantry)

Unique techs: Ballistae (Scorpions and Galleys have +2 attack, +1 range), Pax Romana (Walls and Towers cost -50%; +50% hit points)

Team Bonus: Infantry have +2 Line of Sight.

Updated Missing Techs

  • Barracks - Halberdier, Eagle Warrior
  • Archery Range - Heavy Cav Archer, Parthian Tactics, Hand Cannon
  • Stable - Cavalier, Battle Elephant
  • Siege Workshop - Siege Onager, Bombard Cannon
  • Dock - Cannon Galleon,
  • Blacksmith - Bracer, Ring Archer Armor
  • Monastery - Heresy, Herbal Medicine
  • Castle - Hoardings, sappers
  • University - Bombard Tower
  • Lumbercamp - Two-man saw

Patch 2.1 summary:

  • Fixed a bug where romans would receive free melee attack upgrades, it is now only the infantry armor upgrades (scale mail, chain mail and plate mail).
  • Roman towers no longer fire 20% faster.
  • Romans no longer have free man-at-arms
  • Roman skirmishers have +1 range starting in the Castle Age
  • Romans no have Cavalier
  • Ballistae now affects galleys
  • Roman villagers now receive +10 hit points castle age, +15 hit points imperial age (thanks to DukeLukeivi for the idea) instead of a flat +10.
  • Changed some of the civ entities thanks to suggestions by TheBattler for the Romans to better embody the western roman empire
