There's enough room in the selected unit description to display hidden bonuses.

This is something I love about AoE3, you can click a tab to show all the hidden bonuses against cavalry, buildings, ships, etc. I think there is a lot of space going unused right next to the damage and range values that could be used to display bonuses.
