Am I able to transfer HD campaign progress to Definitive Edition?

I've made my way through about half of the campaigns in HD. and am wondering if that progress will be lost if I purchase Definitive.

Anyone know if I can just copy/paste some save filed to pick up where I left off? The completionist inside me is hesitant to make the purchase otherwise...
