Anyone know of a good late-game counter civ to Koreans?

Somewhat of a nub here. My friend group made the mistake of playing a game of PvP instead of against the bots like we usually do. Normally, I play Britons, and went up against an enemy Korean civ neighbor.

I was able to fend off their Feudal rush, but once late-game came around, the Koreans essentially steam-rolled me with a storm of war wagons. I'm wondering if there's a civilization (unlike Brits - perhaps it's time for me to get out of my archer rut) that would allow me to successfully counter a late game War Wagon frenzy.

Insight would be appreciated :)
