Well instead of the Elephant Archer, Indians can get the Siege Elephant. Its like a cross between battle elephant and war elephant in terms of HP with a bonus against buildings.
HP : 350, 450 (Elite) Movement Speed : 0.85 Blast Radius : 0.4 Trample Damage : 2 Armor : 2/3, 3/4 (Elite) Damage : 15, 20 (Elite) Bonus : +20 against buildings, +30 (Elite) Training Time : 30 seconds Cost : 200F / 100G Upgrade to Elite : 1300F / 800G LOS : 4, 5 (Elite) Size : Same as that of Battle Elephant
