I am aware that there have been at least two modes that added more civilizations to the existing 14 (of the original game plus two expansions): one of them was the Napoleonic Era and the other is Wars of Liberty. I am considering whether to download Wars of Liberty and also would like to ask what happened to the Napoleonic Era.
I am curious about the experience of those players who have one or more of those modes. Are they worth to download? I mean, technically functional (without many bugs, etc.) and also with good civilizations and overall gameplay?
As far as I know, Napoleonic Era came first and brought less civilizations than Wars of Liberty. Additionally, the latter replicated some of the Civilizations of the former, except the Swiss, and even added more, like the Koreans, Mexicans, Brazilians and Zulu.
