So, the Keshik is comparable to a Cavalier except it has 1 less melee-armor and trades 10 food cost for 5 extra gold (which it can get back from attacking 5 times). Then the elite version is similar to Paladin except it trades 30HP and the 1 melee-armor for 1 more pierce armor instead.

Since the Tatars don't have the Paladin upgrade, it would make sense for someone to use Keshiks instead of Cavalier in the late game/team games. They essentially look like low-sugar versions of Paladins (I can't say diet Paladin because they seem too strong for that) and are slightly weaker but cost 10 less food (also negating the extra 5 gold cost considering they'll probably make it back up during a fight). The big drawback is that they have to be made from a castle of course.
Personally, I think they'd be much cooler as a weak trash unit. Imagine having a mediocre trash unit that could generate gold. Then you'd have the ability to either go gold-generating trash from castles or go super spamable hussars.
