How would you counter Berbers as Mongols

I just can't see how would someone counter Berbers as Mongols, especially in the Imperial age.

Berber (15%/ 20% cheaper) stable units are much better than Mongols(missing plate barding).

Camel archers and Genitours hard counters Mangudai.

The only advantage mongols get against Berbers are siege, but lack of halberdier makes them harder to defend.
