Is it ethical to maintain a second account to play on drunk/intoxicated?

I have recently started focusing more (i.e. try-harding) while playing ranked games and have gone up ~200 elo points by putting in that effort. I really enjoy playing against opponents in my new skill level, since there is a lot more actual decision making. However, when I am intoxicated, I feel like my elo drops around 200 points, and the quality of game I play drops noticeably. However, I still want to play (albeit lower) quality games while I am drunk, so I don't want to go into the unranked lobbies.

What I am trying to get at is that I play aoe2 for multiple reasons: one is similar to why I play classical chess, and another akin to why I play bullet. In chess, these two ratings are kept different. Is it okay for me to try to keep these ratings different for myself? Or do general rules against smurfing dictate that it's wrong?

Any thoughts people have on this would be appreciated.
