AI in scenario editor won't behave

I'm trying to set up a scenario where the enemy plays as the normal ai, but I also wanted to make a few forced raids (creating units and attack moving them to the player via triggers).

However, after a few seconds of marching at the player, the ai seemingly takes control of them and redirects them for its own purpose. I've tried both "attack move" and "task unit" effect in triggers, but the result is roughly the same. I was thinking I could create another player with no ai, but would prefer against doing that.

Any help or solutions would be appreciated
