Will Lords of the West be the first in a series of new expansions?

The wording on the steam page specifies that LotW is the "first official expansion to Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition" that implies to me that they have more planned down the line that adhere to this smaller expansion strategy.

If it is the case, that might mean maybe a couple more small expansions to flesh out long requested parts of the world are in the pipeline, which could actually be fitting since its hard to see how some places would need 4 entire civs to fit in for them.

So I'm going to guess there will be a mini-expansion for India that might have long requested variation so its not just a singular Indian civ to represent the whole sub-continent, my guess for civilizations in that would be the Cholas and the Bengalis, with the current Indians more explicitly representing the Delhi sultanate.

After that there could one for more African civs that weren't included in the game, to that end I think the Somali and either the Kingdom of Kongo, or Kanem-Bornu would be the most obvious, using the current African set.

Finally, if there a third one I could see an expansion for the states near China, which could be featuring the Jurchen (who would later be known as the Manchu), and the Tibetans, but if that's not politically hot, alternatively there could also be Thai.

I hope this is the last of the European civs ever added to the game with LotW honestly, so sorry to Poland, but I don't really know what they could do with them anyway to distinguish them from the Slavs, Lithuanians and Magyars. Some thing I really hope they can do is making the civs featured more distinctive based on their geography, so maybe we could finally have African civs feature black villagers or make monks and trade carts relevant to their locations, ie, Muslim civs have Imams and use Camel caravans.
