Streamer Match-up discussion Round 1 Week2: Nili_aoe vs Moonfaller

Hello and welcome back for another Age of Empires 2 streamer match-up discussion! This is a series where we discuss the various advantages, disadvantages, and quirks found within the numerous streamers of the game. The goal is to collectively gain a deeper understanding of how two streamers interact with their audiance in a variety of different settings. Feel free to ask questions, pose strategies, or provide insight on how the two streamers in question sell out during their time on twitch. This is not limited to casting but also feel free to discuss how the streamers interact with the audience during their own games aswell! So long as you are talking about how the two streamers interact, anything is fair game! Last week we discussed DauT vs T90, and next up is the Nili_AoE vs Moonfaller!

Nili_AoE: The pro caster

• Knows the game as well as most top level players
• Organized the best tournament of 2019 with the greatest casters (except KillerB, wtf man)
• 2276 player elo
• 2k8 casting elo
• 0k4 first 5 mins of dark age casting elo
• Won't kill sheep, deer or boar, gets tripple the amount of resources from berrybush
• TEAM BONUS: Can be main caster, cocaster and can even do an anilisis after the game.
• Unique Unit: Hippopotamus amphibius, kills the most villagers on arabia out of all gaia.
• Unique Tech: Hypesong (viewer excitement +2)

Moonfaller: Grinding noob without game knowledge

• Streams 8 hours 5 days a week
• Builds 5 ranges upon reaching feudal age
• 1650 player elo
• 1k1 casting elo
• 2k5 entertaining elo
• 3k2 facepalm elo (for going spanish xbow, inca scouts, etc)
• TEAM BONUS: Easy to blame for the loss
• Unique Unit: Treasure (Doggo who needs and deserves constant attention, lowers bloodpressure with 20 mmHg)
• Unique tech: Pumped up Kicks (once you hear someone sub you got to sub aswell)

Below are some match up-specific talking points to get you all started. These are just to give people ideas, you do not need to address them specifically if you do not want to!

• We've been on a roll with good match ups recently! On your typical 1v1 Arabia grind Nili would be coached by Hera, will play a solid 2k+ game and will teach you a lot. On the other hand Moonfaller will show you common mistakes, will benefit from all advice given in the chat and will make 50 archers in feudal age anyway. Whom do you favor here?
• On Arena I feel like both these streamers can't ever be found so useless point.
• King of the Plebs (Moonfallers tournament) vs NAC, what tournament did you prefer? For me KotP is a clear win because I won the first edition.
• When casting do you prefer the deep game knowledge of Nili or the spontaneous casting of Moonfaller?
