Any idea how to connect various computers in different countries in a lan connection ?

I need it for playing AOM extended edition. It's broken on steam. I've tried on gameranger but that only supports original aom and the titans. I'm looking for a way to play the extended edition (cz of the better graphics). If anyone knows how to do it then please forward any links or suggestions.
