First time that the whole family played AoE 2 together... And it was a blast

Been playing the series since the originals, so last year I wanted to introduce my kids to the game. I made the mistake of introducing my kids to the series playing AoE (1) DE. I think it's a bit harder for complete noobs than AoE 2, and my youngest didn't like it that much due to the learning curve. So this year I've been getting my kids to play AoE 2, and they've started to really enjoy it. My youngest has even been building custom maps that are just crazy, for lack of a better word. Anyway, today I bought a copy for my wife as well so she could join us. Long story short, she learned quickly, and we all had a ton of fun playing together as a team against the ai. Played from around 830 until 1AM. Love this game even more now that I get to enjoy it with the wife and kids. .
