Burgundians
-
Economic upgrades are available one Age earlier than other civs [I admit "one Age early" is indeed a concept with potential, but... Cuman Capped Rams were here first.]
-
Fallen Knights return 50% of their gold cost [As useful as it may be, seems like a better Madrash.]
-
Coustillier: Cavalry unit that can charge their attack stat [Charge? Change?]
-
Flemish Militia and Flemish Revolution [Meh, Supremacy was here first with its supervillagers].
-
Burgundian Vineyards [This one's interesting.]
Sicilians
-
Castles and Town Centers are constructed 100% faster [Just when I thought Koreans lost the ability to build towers/castles faster (also) because it overlaped with the Spanish bonus...]
-
Land military units absorb 33% of all incoming bonus damage [What, they get more HP? Bonus damage is negated? The Byzantine unique unit would like a word.]
-
Each Farm upgrade grants Farmers +1 carry capacity [Not only Tatars get part of the Mayan longer-lasting resources bonus, now Sicilians get a bit of the Aztec villagers can-carry-more-resources ability.]
-
Serjeant [Could be described as a dismounted Konnik who learned to build Kreposts, really.]
-
First Crusade [The Cumans would like their Imperial Age tech back.]
-
Scutage [Paper Money with a twist, been there, done that.]
No team bonuses yet?
No matter how slightly different or actually more useful these bonuses are, one can't really compare them with original stuff (I insist, even if much less useful or actually very simple) such as automatically-attacking TCs, increased blast damage for siege workshop units, no need for certain buildings to age up (or even build farms), a unit which only takes half pop space, being able to build TCs in the Feudal Age or garrisoned relics giving +1 attack to heavy cavalry. For the better or worse, up until now and despite some hints of overlapping, there was some originality compensating it all.
This expansion... Lords of the West? Seriously? I see nothing about it on FE's website. Aren't they doing this anymore? That would explain a lot.
