Help explain balance changes

Hey guys my friend and I use to play this a while ago when the titans expansion was the most recent (back when odins ravens came at classical), and I am a little confused with the balance updates.

I am buying my friend the dance with dragons DLC and we are hoping to get some games going with people. I have a few questions if anyone wouldnt mind answering them.

1. Ive noticed that odin gets his ravens when he builds the temple now, but I only had titans expansion. What are the changes that have happened since the dance with dragons dlc?

2. What is voobly, and is it better then the normal games balance? please link any balance changes on this aswell

3. Can anyone supply an up to date tier list, my fav civ was zeus, and I know he was op back then, how is he doing now?

4. My favorite civs are zeus, oranos, any egyptian, any places to get some beginner guides?

I am also not insanely new, I have like 60 hours on the game, but its all vs my 1 buddy or the AI.
