Games with campaigns like AOE2's?

Hi.

I was rethinking back to when I played the AoK and Conquerors campaigns, and I realized no other game ever provided such interesting historical campaigns as this one. The closest I've seen are missions from Call of Duty Games and Assassins Creed, but they really don't compare to the experience of AOE2.

Any thoughts (apart from other Age of Empires games, of course). Thank you!
