What do people think of the remastered music in DE?

I've been a huge fan of the music in the Age series, and one of the many, many reasons I was so excited for DE was to listen to the updated soundtrack. But honestly, it never really grabbed my attention in DE. Now I'm no music critic, and there's a solid chance I'm just being blinded by nostalgia here. But what do other people think? Is the music in DE any good? Is it better or worse than the original? Have you even noticed that it changed? For players that started with DE, what do you think of the music in general?
